Policeman shot dead by colleague 'accidentally'

An Indian Reserve Police constable was killed in 'accidental fire' in central Kashmir's Budgam district on Thursday, sources told Kashmir Dispatch here. "Constable Rajesh Kumar No:-584 of IRP-20th Bn. received  a fire arm injury in his abdomen, in an accidental fire by one of his colleague, this morning in their camp at Arizal-Budgam," the sources said.

He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Beerwah in a very critical condition, where from he was referred to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS), Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.

He succumbed to his injuries there, the source said.
