School teacher kidnapped in North Kashmir

A school teacher has been kidnapped by unidentified men in north Kashmir's Baramaulla district, some 80 kms from Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar.

Police say they have intensified the hunt for Zahoor Ahmad Bhat who was kidnapped from outside his home two days ago.

Bhat, 26, a resident of Gandraipora is a government teacher by profession.

Police says they have registered a case FIR No. 13/ 2013 under section 364 RPC in this regard and the investigation has been started.

A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper killed two of his colleagues and injured two others in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar town early Tuesday, police said.
