Kashmir Tourism to hold road shows in Saudi Arabia


With a promising increase in tourist inflow, Jammu and Kashmir tourism department has yet again undertaken drive to catch attention of the international tourists towards the scenic valley.

A team headed by the Minster for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir Friday left for Saudi Arabia, where it intends to hold road shows in various cities of the Arab nation to attract them and other international tourists. The team includes Director Tourism Kashmir, Talat Parvaiz and Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority Tariq Ahmad Ganie.

“We will be on a five day trip during which road shows would be conducted in Riyad, Jidah, Damam and other towns,” Parvaiz said. The team is scheduled to return on May 25.
