Questions Kashmir should ask

Do you remember the story of cats who were fighting for a piece of cake, and were pacified by a monkey, by sharing pieces into equal halves. The monkey be-fooled the cats and had the cake. He became the judge, the chief justice, the owner and benefited. Being human, we proudly say animals can't think and we are the supreme creatures. But, if humans are be-fooled by any such 'monkey', then one wonders what happens to the claim of being the best of creatures?

And to one's utter displeasure such humans are forcibly ruled by their bosses, autocrats, and despot leaders, occupiers and 'help' them to solve their issues, even family feuds. They now protect brothers from one other. Should we call it stupidity, madness, illiteracy, ignorance'? It simply can't be described in words. Perhaps such people impose rulers upon themselves.

And they call, bring the police, non-state subjects and let them bring peace here, let them decide what is right and what is wrong. Let them share things among us. It is not that the elders among them are dead. No, their soul is dead. Their conscience gone years ago. Dead inside, only moving objects feeling proud that nobody can be-fool them.

Ask them, what is happening in Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon, they will waste no time in replying, it is all Jewish policy to divide Muslims of the world. This is the handiwork of anti-Muslim and anti-Islam forces. But ask them what is happening with you in Kashmir? Why are you burning down your localities, why are you fighting with each other, why are you burning down your mosques, shrines and holy scriptures? They will not answer, as if they are deaf and dumb. They pretend to know nothing. Their answer, mostly brazen; it is handiwork of 'agencies'.

They will for sure repeat their past. We have time again defeated the evil designs of our enemy. Remember the 'Jan Sangh' era (when agencies used to send their trained people to burn down any locality so as create terror in that village, town or city, so as they will not let anyone in after darkness, so as to ward off every strange face and take him as "Jan Sangh" ); remember that "Daen era" (when agencies would trained agents with iron nailed hands called 'Daen' so as to create fear among the inhabitants). We just failed them.

Agencies tried to create a wedge between Muslim-Pandit community, they however succeeded in that but not fully. See the Pandits want to come back now and we will welcome them with open hearts.

Nobody will think it for a second that what we are doing today, blood thirsty beasts can't even do that. Up in arms against our brothers. Aren't we one Ummah? We share one Allah, one Holy book, one Prophet. So why to fight for some unclear picture or writing on a shoe made in some foreign country. And they presume it to be some religious writing. Yes they presumed and fumed in anger. Ask them did not you also presumed 'Saddam' once the 'leader' of Iraq on moon after his hanging.

And when we are supposed to fight back the enemies of Islam, who time again kill Muslims in the name of Islam, we retreat. No, it is no jihad "holy war". Terrorists are killing innocents in Palestine, Iraq or Afghanistan they say that is their personal matter. But here it is 'holy war' against my brother in Islam. Against my Shia and Sunni brother.

And there 'leaders' warn them about the nefarious designs of agencies working in Kashmir but they the people, the self claimed experts don't pay any heed to their call.

One among the leaders said that," there can be no bigger shame for us than the fact that today CRPF personnel from Bihar and other Indian states stand on our door steps to safeguard our property and families, as we face danger not from any enemy but from our own Muslim brethren. Instead of condemning the shoe company that came out with the blasphemous footwear, we are fighting each other."

And a frail voice yet strong in his credence said that "To strengthen their occupation, agencies divide Muslims of Kashmir. Be cautious and united". Others also asked for unity.

But alas! the people of Kashmir are in a deep slumber. Now who will awake them from this slumber. God knows better.

God bless Kashmir.
