The frantic fugitive, who allegedly stabbed two modern art museum staff, says he “lost it” on Saturday when he refused to let him into the famous museum to see Van Gogh’s masterpiece ‘Starry Night’.
Gary Cabana, 60, in a series of bizarre Instagram posts with The Post on Sunday night, openly admitted to being in Lam following the stabbing on Saturday night.
He blamed the victims, claiming they had conspired with a woman named “Barbara”, who lied to cancel his museum membership post.
In his message, Cabana said, “Punched girls are also involved in back punching. I do not punch the back, only the front.”
“It simply came to our notice then. And she got help from the girls who were stabbed, ”he said, referring to Barbara.
Police say Cabana exploded twice at the museum, prompting the removal of his membership – which led to Saturday’s attack.
But the man denied that there were any such incidents in his Sunday night news.
In a letter to the museum’s director of defense, Cabana said he was “aggressive.” [and] Disruptive ”February 24 and last Wednesday.
“Everything is not true,” he wrote to a Post reporter.
“I was completely blindsided by the security officer’s letter without any meeting or consultation to explain how important my mental health and the best movies are to my life.
Defense “started me believing Barbara’s lies,” Cabana said.
On Saturday afternoon, he wrote, “I lost it when they told me I could not go upstairs to see STARRY STARYY NITHT forever.”
Cabana is said to have been angry when he was sent back around 4pm when he tried to go to the “Bringing Up Baby” screening at the museum, officials said. Both victims – a man and a woman, 24 – were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Suspicious shouting person is active on social media while avoiding officers.
Cabana told The Post that he was going to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
