USFL 2022 Season Opener, New Jersey Generals at Birmingham Stallions: Live Updates, Score, TV, Streaming Info

Welcome to the first game of the USFL 2022 season. After a gap of 37 years, a new edition of the USFL is underway with a prime-time match between the New Jersey Generals and the Birmingham Stallions. The Generals took a 14-7 lead thanks to a game by receiver Randy Chatterfield.

Saturday’s game kicked off, with Generals quarterback Louise Perez scoring at Chatterfield for a 48-yard gain in the first game from ScreamMage. Despite a bad kick from the Stallions defender, Chatterfield ended the drive with a 3-yard touchdown.

The Stallions responded in a big game of their own, with Alex McCuff passing a 35-yard touchdown pass to Osiris Mitchell within four minutes of the game. New Jersey regained the lead early in the second quarter using Shalom Luani’s defense. Perez, who faced third and 7th from the Stallions’ 13-yard-line, rolled to his right before hitting a tight end in the final zone for the Co-Ahead score.
